What the extension does

• Reads highlighted text on webpages locally to provide instant unit, currency, and temperature conversions.
• Stores user preferences (like default currency or units) locally in your browser using chrome.storage. These settings never leave your device.
• Fetches publicly available currency exchange rates from Fawaz Ahmed’s Exchange API. No user information is sent to the API.
